Beginners Courses 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Sutton Archery Club<\/a>, we prioritise safety by requiring all new members to complete a beginners course before joining. We conduct six major beginners courses each year, with each course spanning six weeks (May to July). The first three weeks focus on small group training led by qualified ArcheryGB coaches, emphasising basic shooting techniques and safety. The final three weeks introduce participants to target archery, where they can enhance their skills through general supervision and coaching, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for everyone involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re interested in attending one of the courses, please specify which course you’d like to join, along with alternative preferences in case your first choice is full. Note that the courses last for six weeks and are held on the back field; if you can’t attend for a full three weeks due to reasons like weather, holidays, or work, we will carry over the program for that week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
