Away Competitions Calendar 2020
Away Competitions Calendar 2020
A selection of tournaments for you all to consider:
Here is a selection of friendly local competitions that members might like to enter, whether experienced or novice archers. They are all open to ladies, gents and juniors whatever bow type you like to use. They are good fun and good experience for anyone wanting to improve their shooting.
If you would like to enter these, or any other competitions that aren’t listed, you can do so by going to the relevant club website, or speak to Barry Stephenson who’ll usually be coordinating an entry form. There will often be several archers from the club going along to these competitions, so a bit of company and transport can be arranged.
Additional competitions may be added as we go through the year, so keep an eye on this page for updates. If there is a competition you’d like to enter that isn’t listed, let us know so we can see whether anyone else is interested.
For adults, most of the outdoor competitions will require you to shoot at least 60 yards. So make sure you plan your training and practice ready to shoot this distance. For juniors the distances may be less, dependent on age and the round being shot.
