Indoor Closures at Fairfax

The Sports Hall is out of use for us on Tuesday 1st February The school has examinations. We will be able to shoot on Friday 8 February.

Unfortunately I have been informed by Fairfax that due to half term, staffing issues and examinations the Sports Hall at Fairfax will not be available to us at the following:-

Half Term holiday week Mon 21st Feb to Friday 25th Feb


A 2 week exam period Friday 4th March through to Friday 18th March the sportshall will not be available Fri 4th, Tue 8th, Fri 11th and Tue 15th March.

It is available Tuesday 1st March and from the 18th March onwards.

Please also note the AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 30th March please be there for 1845 for a 1900 prompt start, an Agenda and further information will be sent in the second half of February.

SCAC about Coronavirus

For the foreseeable future and until the Coronavirus pandemic is declared over, all members/visitors are asked not to attend the club if they are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or any new persistent cough and raised temperature.

Any member/visitor who attends the a shoot exhibiting such symptoms will be required to remove themselves from the session for the benefit of all.

If a member becomes aware that they have contracted coronavirus or come into contact with someone else who has the virus please let me or another member of the Committee know immediately.

Indoor Shooting

Winter Weekday shooting is Tuesday and Friday evening from 1800 to 2100 and starts Tuesday 7h September 2021.

Weekday shooting is at Fairfax Academy, address below.

Access is via the Gate 3 entrance on Fairfax Road, the gates will not be open before 1745.

Please leave the parking nearest to the Sports Hall entrance available for less mobile members.

There is plenty of park adjacent to the Sports Hall and toilet facilities are part of the building.

The entrance to the Sports Hall is on the left as you enter the building, fire exits are clearly marked at both ends of the Sports Hall. The fire muster point is on the main playground visible from the Sports Hall.

Outdoor Shooting

Sunday shooting at the Rugby field is on Afternoons only and starts at 1 p.m. and follows the same procedures as the last few months.
